Seeing Suspicious Cars Pass Your Mail-Box? Beware!

The title says it all.  If you don't think identity theft could happen to you then you might want to reconsider.  All it takes is one swipe of all your mail.  This is one of the most easiest methods for stealing your personal information to the lead to your identity being stolen. 

 


Another thing these sly identity thieves are doing is casing the joint to make sure the house is empty.  They make sure no one sees them.  so when you at work, your very vulnerable to a criminal stealing your personal information out of your mail-box.  Pretty scary huh?  If that is the case then hopefully a neighbor or someone sees the snatching so you can report it to authorities immediately.

 

 

One thing that is very helpful in protecting your identity along with your important pieces of mail is to get a P.O. Box. -  This is the safest way to protect your mail.  Having all your bills sent to the P.O. Box is a great idea and just have your personal mail that won't get your identity stolen sent to your main address.

 

Now your one step closer to securing your identity.  If you do see a mail snatching, immediately report it and try to get the car make, model, and licenses plate number.
