Did you ever think something that you do so much, could get you in a lot of trouble that you don't know about until you get that phone call from a debt collector or signs of other identity theft attacks. You head to the bank and theres a person behind you. Your fiddling with some documents that contain personal information. The thieve gets a too good look at it. That's all it takes. Possibly you drop a documents and leave it behind for the identity thieve to snatch. It's all possible so watch your every step.

 

 

It just doesn't require your social security number to cause identity theft to take place. People have been a victim of this crime with less information then that.

 

Always be careful of your personal checks and banking documents. You obviously don't want to lose your check book. It contains information that could lead you to being a victim of identity theft along with a blank check that could be made out for whatever the thieve wants.
